unkown sensor...please help identify

89, regular cab, 4x4, short bed (it's 6 feet), 5 speed manual transmission (no OD), 22RE engine. Manufacture date of 12/88

I broke a wire off of what I assume is a sensor yesterday while working on my truck. It is on the passenger side of the engine just to the left (towards the rear of the truck) of the oil filter. I also have a sensor just below the oil filter.
I assume one of these is the oil pressure switch. Although I could be very wrong.

If anyone can help me identify either of these items I would really appreciate it.

The other question is if I order a new one it is only going to be the part that goes into the engine block not the connector, again I assume. So where can I order the connector? As we all know it is damn need impossible to find one of these engines in a junk yard, but I am going to go try pick-a-part and see if there isn't one hanging around.

In the photo it is the sensor on the top left of the picture that I really need identified, although I am curious what the one on the bottom right is as well. For reference the silver thing on the left of the pic is the front of the starter

That upper sensor with the orange o-ring is the knock sensor. The sensor below the oil filter is the oil pressure sensor.

Thanks ShowStop. Do you think it is ok to drive it to the junk yard, it's about 10 miles, with this sensor broken?

Ok so I had zero luck at the junk yard trying to find the piece of plastic that clips onto the knock sensor.
Anyone have any ideas what that is called?
Is it called a pig tail?
A wire harness end for a knock sensor?
I need to know what it is called to try and find one online.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look online?

That is the guide to replacing wire harnesses that are broken. Although, it looks like in the picture, the plastic harness that is on the sensor is broken, and that cannot be repaired or fixed, you have to buy the knock sensor and it will ahve that harness already on it.

For the truck end, you can try to use the above link, with the wiring repair manual. The manual covers 95 and later, so you may not be able to find the PN on the harness itself, but you may be able to find it in the pictures of 1P waterproof connectors.

I didn't break the plastic part that locks onto the sensor, I broke the wire that comes out of the plastic piece that locks onto the sensor. The wire broke right at the very edge of the connector so there isn't enough room to try and splice a wire to it.
In short I broke the wire from the part attached to the harness.
I just already had the plastic piece the wire goes into off the truck when I took the picture.

Well my first effort to just splice this back on the truck didn't work and the check engine light still came back on. However yesterday I had a friend solder it back on and now the light is off. So thanks to all that replied. I appreciate it very much.
