As much as I didn't want to put them on, I scored a brand new set of polished stainless nerf bars for my Tundra to help my VERY pregnant wife get in and out of the truck for 80 clams.... She would not be able to ride in it without them.

Maybe not the best thing, but I just got an HP DesignJet 750C Plus plotter given to me. I spent about $20 on parts to refurbish it. It will print up to 36" wide color blueprints, so I don't have to try to read prints from 8.5 x 11 paper anymore. As a bonus it will print poster size photos in 600 x 600 resolution.

![]() ![]() ![]() Bumper getting modified a little bit. It has a polished aluminum skidplate that goes on the front. Now I've just gotta sandblast the setup, paint it, and throw the skid back on. Threw in a picture of the grille for those wondering where it is..

Got a pair of buckets out of a civic for $60. Still working on mounting them well. They were most recently out of an '86 toyota pickup, and have the rails to match. So far I've just bolted them to 1x1 bar and that to the stock mounts, but they sit high and not real solid.
Still way better than the 60/40 bench!

You don't need the computer switch and harness for that elocker. Just saying you can spend 12.00 on a switch plus wiring and never have to worry about it . That's how mine are wired in. I can't remember the link to the write up I followed but so much easier than messing with a shit ton of relays,
My best buy under a 100$ ever was a functioning elocker third for 35 bucks

I was looking at 12voltguy.coms harness- its about $145 I may try to wire it myself. Not real familiar with these yet and doing research.

It really made it easy , limit switches are built into the actuators , and the truck I did this on had been wired up using Toyota relays , and it was a nightmare to chase gremlins since then , I haven't had a single problem with mine , I looked at the 12 volt guys kit, but I figured I'd try using the dpdt switch (I ordered mine from OTRATTW.com) one says rear locker the other days front ,

So how much did you end up having in it? Just curious as to what I'd have in just parts vs something that's plug and play.
