Strawberry and deer valley may be out of the picture. DOJ ruling today and rumors are that it may be closed for one year.

Antis did the whole process under the radar

If that's the case, maybe we can run eagle lakes and signal peak. Slightly out of the way but the view at signal is great

It would prolly be a good two and a half hour drive between the two trails...The Rubicon is up highway 50 and Eagle Lakes is up 80.

And oh yeah, those closures are pretty much final...

We would be running these trails after the con, which would dump us out on the 89.

All this trail closure is some fucking bull shit! What's this they are saying about the "wetlands" on the con?

Yep. My rig is not street friendly anymore. It does have current tags and ins if I have to drive it.

Id run to the springs and then back to loon with him if it boiled down to it change it up and make it harder

i probably wont be doin much wheeling after the con. So you all can go do whatever. Its going to be a straight slow shot home after it. And theres no road from my house to reno LMAO!!!

It wont be a problem. I can cruise the hwy at 65. I used to do it before I had the trailer.

Aside from dealing with Ranger Dickhead I had a blast at Pismo, it's just too damn far to make it worth the trip by itself. I'd definitely head down there again if anyone else is interested.

The snow is melting off much faster and earlier this year than last. On one hand we won't have to worry about water levels, on the other it will be dusty...Any of you NorCal guys know if they will restrict camp fires due to the lack of precipitation this year?

It's too early to say about fire restrictions. I think we may okay from all the late April rain we were getting up here.
