8.4" rear housing
I have a rear axle housing for sale out of a 1st gen tacoma. It has everything but the 3rd. I have a 3.91 3rd that i could sell with it though.
Housing-$75 Rear 3rd-$90 Both are obo located in durango co 81301. Would rather not ship the housing unless you dont want shafts.

I have a newb question, since im new to toyotas.... but what did they use the tacoma 8.4 in?
i have a 00 tacoma rear diff out of a 2wd 3.4 5spd and want to know what mine is considered, if its either a 7.5 or 8.4

Thanks for the help guys. But i actually looked into a little further, by reading the axel code off the door jam, it is stating that i do not have a 7.5, that it is a 8" ring gear. Now does that mean it is the tacoma/t-100 8"?
I know that for my model, i can have a 7.5 or a 8". I have a set of 4.56's out of a 8.4 diff and i just want to make sure they will swap into my tacoma rear end

what are the chances you would cut one of the axles tubes off the housing and ship it? been wanting to make a fixture for rear axle bearings.
