My bad. Lol. The rumor is he is really good and Adams swears by him but I haven't got my truck back yet. He said the parts were a little hard to come by. So I'm not sure how happy I am with him yet. His #7028827568

What's going on guys? It's been a while sense I've been on here. I've been super busy with work and a few other things. Update on the taco. Got the windows tinted, wheels and tires. I went with the method true bead locks with bfg km2 MUDs. I got the wheels powder coated gold with the rings black. Im dropping the truck off this week to get the bent pinion shaft changed. Other then that all is good. Once I get that done I would love to get the new tires in the rocks. Hope all is good with everyone.

I need to get my 4runner out in the rocks. I don't think I'll be able to follow you but maybe you can teach me a thing or two. Are you serious about going out?

A prerunner is next on the list after I get the 4runner all buttoned up. I was kind of thinking about building a Baja bug. But that's a ways out either way. How did the race go last weekend?

I started messing around with installing my mids and highs last night. The magnets are so much bigger on the new speakers I had to make 3/4 " spacer/adapters ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bad news is once I went to put the door panel back on it didn't clear the speaker. But if my measurement are correct I should be able to off set the inner circle so it will clear. Guess I will find out tonight. Last edited by ExOtoy535; 06-27-2012 at 09:57 AM. A little update on stereo. The new rings worked out great with the offset. I also got both of the front tweets mounted

Made some more progress today. Mounted the rear components. All I have left is wire it all up.

Little update on the truck. After the gear box and tranny mess I had to put a new clutch in. I knocked it out last Friday. When I pulled it apart the TOB felt pretty rough but not horrible. After getting it put back together she shifts like a new truck. I drop it off at the shop a week from Monday to get the pinion bearing and or bent pinion shaft changed out. Then it will be time to wheel
