91 Pickup LCE 22re For sale or part out
Hey everyone. I have a 91 4x4 grey pickup reg cab that I need to sell or part out. Brand new LCE Stroker 22re. But the rest of the truck has somewhere around 250k. Solid Manual Trans and T-case. Front diff is great. The rear needs a pinion bearing pretty bad. The body has minimal rust. Spotty at worst. Brand new 31x1250/15 Yokohama H/Ts tires.
If you want the truck as a whole its going to be $4000. Mostly cause it has a $5k motor in it with only about 1000 miles. Otherwise let me know what you want with a price offer. Ships on your dime or local pickup. If you want a large part (ie motor, trans, axle) i would prefer local pickup. But i will remove it and freight it to you for an agreed on price. Hellas are not for sale. Here are a list of things that are in good shape for parting out. Doesn't mean you cant ask for something that's not on the list. Im sorry but i can't tell you what will fit on other year model trucks, i don't have time to research that. Motor $3000 Trans $? Front diff $? Rear end (needs to be rebuilt) $400 Balljoint spacers $50 Rear add-a-leaf $50 Wheels (see photo) $300 Tires 93% tread $400

It's Grey. Bench Seat. The drivers side of the bench has the infamous chunk of foam missing though. Two small cracks in the dash. As far as I can remember everything else is good.

Wow. I'd like to think a $5000 LCE engine would be fairly reliable. I would have guessed that you wanted something more comfortable or fuel efficient before citing reliability. Has it been giving you any trouble?

He must be referring to the other issues with the rear end and all the other things that come with a truck that has 250k on it. The phrase "brand new engine" doesn't mean brand new truck. I was just reminded of that fact when I drove my old pickup with its brand new engine a little bit ago.

You hit the nail on the head White Mountain Taco. Yeah the motor is awesome. [Slightly] more power and mpg. Its the rest of the truck that is unreliable for long distances. My work requires me to drive long distances all the time. Which is probably what made it start eating the pinion seal and bearing. Truck is still 21 years old with original everything. Even the motor is original just rebuilt.
