Please give me some great horror movies to watch. My girlfriend says she cant be scared and I want to scare the s#@! out of her, so help me out name me the scariest movies out there...
I hear the Blair Witch Project is scary. I haven't seen it myself, but everyone tells me that it's scary because of how good the actors in the movie portray really being scared.
Supposedly it's creepy.
I also hear that the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre from the 70's is scary as hell.
Most horror movies that I've seen pretty much suck and aren't scary at all.

American Wherewolf in London Pt 1.
" Stick to the roads...Beware of the moon."
She will shit her pants and this should allow you to watch the rest of the movie with her wearing no underwear! LOL....

...By the way
The Ring, and The Grudge are both total pieces of crap, and are not scary at all, what so ever. Those two movies would be a complete waste of time, money and effort. The Ring was boring and predictable, and The Grudge's "scares" were laughably stupid, and totally UNscary.
lol i felt a little motion sickness when i saw blair witch in the theaters.

Yeah - Skeleton Key is the cat's pajamas! Awesome Movie, but I wouldn't really call it a horror movie, and I definitely wouldn't lay that one down to try to scare someone who claims to be un-scarable.
Of course if you want to go old school "The Shining" with Jack Nickleson is very scary. The sound of the little boy riding his big wheel on the carpet, off the carpet, on the carpet... Gives me chills as I write this.

My votes would be:
The ORIGINAL Texas Chainsaw Massacre
House of 1000 Corpses
The Blair Witch Project
Event Horizon
Nell
U think the ring and grudge arent scary but house of 1000 corpses is??? That movie made me literally laugh

House of 1000 Corpses didn't really scare me, but it made my wife have nightmares for a week, and I thought it was a good horror movie. Much better than The Ring, and The Grudge.
...I literally laughed at The Grudge. I just thought The Ring was boring, wierd, and VERY predicatable.
I think one thing that matters also in horror flicks is if u see them in the theatre or not. When i saw the Ring in the movies i almost died, when i saw it on my friends 19" tv i must agree that it was stupid. It just so happens that i saw the grudge in theatre also but saw house of 1k corpses on a regular TV.

the blair witch project was the lamest movie i think ive ever seen. that new movie thats coming out, hostel, looks like it might be scary. it looks like it may be more twisted than scary though. either way, it'll probably be good, quentin tarentino comes out with some wierd shit lol...
adventures in babysitting used to scare me what i was five lol

I don't know, I guess the older 70's movies still scare me. The original "Exorcist" always scared me, as did the original "Amityville Horror". For me, the new horror movies coming out today seem to rely more on graphic, twisted, torturous deaths rather than sending chills down my spine.

I have to agree that devil's rejects was crap. just about all the other choices are good though. a new one i saw that was creepy was The Exorcism of Emily Rose.
the original texas "chainsaw Massacre", and the original "Amityville Horror", where good, also there is a movie called "high tension" that was pretty good, and one of the best horror movie ive seen is "cannibal holocaust".
