Should be able to make it, should be unpacked and oriented by then.

I'll be there. What do you think about combining this with a stocker run up Yankee Hill?

It's a little tricky nailing the 5pm time for the M&G - just never know what will happen on the trail. Recommended trail time from Alice to Central City is 3-4hrs, probably a little longer in reverse, but I did it solo in less than 2hrs; and then 45min-1hr drive time to Denver. Maybe a noon start time? I was thinking running from Central City to Alice would be more fun - it's 90% uphill that way rather than 90% downhill. Unfortunately for May I'm limited to Sunday the 20th, or might be able squeeze in Sunday the 13th, but have family in town for graduation, so not sure how well that would go over... That said, I don't need to be on the run if someone else leads it

So far we have a led for every months stocker run but may. It is too tight of a month timewise for me to take it. We can push the meet and greet back an hour or two if you want to try and hit the trail earlier that day.

What's the word folks? I can either plan to bring the trail-runners down to Racine's or might opt for Tommyknockers in Idaho Springs.

I won't be making the stocker run but I am up for the m&g at either place.

M&G is still on at Racine's, per the OP, but don't forget to go outside and look at the solar eclipse while you're there!
http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/JSEX/JSEX-USA.html Peak is ~1830hrs.

So, 5 pm still? Whoever gets there first, reserve a table under cottora so we know where to find people. Maybe something outside, it's supposed to be nice sunday.

I'll bring folks from the stocker run who want to join, with the caveat that you never know what will happen on the trial...

Will someone check the final head count on Sunday, and call Racine's and make a reservation for those attending plus a few? I'd do it, but I'll be on the trail both Saturday and Sunday.

I don't now if anyone else made it to this, but apologies for not showing myself - we didn't get to the end of the trail(s) until 5pm.
