Default front end noise or clunking

Hey searched the forums to see if anyone else had this issue but no results. I have a 2.5'' spacer kit in the front of my 2001 4x4 with diff rotation. After the kit was installed i get a clunking on the rebound of a bump. Like a tapping out sound when the suspension is rebounding off a speed bump or roller on a dirt road. Always when the front end becomes unweighted. I cant seem to find why this is happening. Is it a cheap kit? Would an upgraded kit solve this? Please let me know if anyone had encountered this in the past. Thank you for your help.

Is the spacer on the top plate of the shock?

yes, the kit on the truck now is just one of those spacer kits that mounts on top of the strut

Default Had the same problem

Jack your front up to hang your tires. Check to see if your springs are not hitting your upper portion of the strut. I had this happen to me. I went with all-pro's upper a-arms to fix the problem. They are an inch longer than stock.

Sounds like your coil is slapping at the spindle, near the top, dump the spacer & it goes away or if you want to keep the spacer, you'll have to get some aftermarket UCA's...

I've had this same problem for the last 8 years. I've changed the front shock set up a few times. Changed the UCA, ball joints upper and lower. Go to your front shafts and try to shake the portion that goes into your front diff. If you have a lot of play there it may be the source of your noise. I'm working on setting up a camera try to confirm if I'm correct.

Bilstein 5100, Toytec 3" spring lift , 33 M/T, Camburg UCA, Daystar 1" body lift BLa Bla Bla do you really give two shits to what is on my truck? NO! I didn't think so, but more to come when I get the chance.

Peace and a bag of chips!
