So, after having some bad luck with the Trail-Gear long spline kit for my front driveshaft, I started looking for other options. Here is what I have found.

These are all build your own options.

1. Square shaft using receiver and drawbar stock.

2. Marlin Crawler

3. All-Pro Offroad

4. Trail-Gear

5. DaveZ Offroad (not a kit, bolt in shaft but doesn't have a CV)

6. GROB Inc (truly DIY)

7. Tractor Supply (seen stuff on Pirate, just not to sure about it)

I'm kinda leaning toward the one from Dave's right now but then my truck is street driven so balance is a big difference maker for me
I have seen one in person and it seemed pretty stout and the owner was pleased with it
I'm planning on ordering the one from Dave's in a few weeks unless anyone posts up anything that would deter me

Oops this is for front, just do a square and save some cash

That's a rip off.....not to mention. 095 is no where near thick enough....3" sch.40 pipe....build it yourself and have it balanced if it shakes.....neither shaft in my Tacoma was balanced and they were fine....neither shaft in my current truck is balanced and they are fine.

If you can't find a place to do it i know my driveshaft guy will....i bet if you took him all the stuff for the shaft it wouldn't be only prolly 100$ for him to weld it up and balance it....buy like i said if you carefully cut your current stuff apart and carefully put it back together i am willing to bet it won't need to be balanced

It seized. I am pretty sure that is what wiped out my ring and pinion up front and separated my transmission and transfer case. I am running the square one right now but it is so annoying. And it is hard to bring myself to buy another long spline unit for $300 when I can't figure out why it is seized.

I did cut it apart. Everything looks straight, yet it doesn't slide. All the nylon was gouged on the splines though. I actually went through and removed all the nylon and it still won't slide together.
