Default Memorial day

I would like to thank any and all vets in our chapter, also any of you who have family who are serving or have served. Let them know you are thankful for all they have done. Even if they have been out for 20 years it will still make them feel good to hear it from you.
THANK YOU

Awesome post rate! I would only add that you can/should do the same on a daily occurrence as well.

This is the first time I've seen this thread although I've been in here several times since Monday, weird!

I bought my neighbor a few beers Monday and also a couple for two other vets that were in the bar. Every little bit counts, right?

unfortunately I have seen what you mean first hand. Although I revered served, my family tree is filled w/ servicemen. I am old enough to remember how my cousin was treated upon returning from the jungles of Vietnam. To me the return home was not the brightest moment in Americas history ranking with the civil right movement (you get my point)

Every single thank you or tip of the hat or holding the door open for that wwii vet that wheres his vet hat or just a smile and how are you doing sir will make a man know that he is appreciated. Remember that everything you have is because men have fought and died to keep it. And just because a war is fought elsewhere isnt the soldiers fault, he is doing a job he was sworn to do....god bless all our fighting men and women!
