ok i have a 04 tacoma 4x4 extended cab with a 3 inch suspension lift i was looking to get 33x10.5x15 bfg all terrain tires. i want to know if they will fit one and if i put them on will i have to change the gearing in the rear end?

They will fit, you will probably want a wheel with a 4" backspacing. You can get by without regearing, I haven't , but if you have time and $$ you should regear to regain some power and gas mileage.

I have 33s and did notice a difference in mph and rpm...I get by, but I may regear in the future. I also have stock toyota LC rims and a small pinch weld mod.

you may not have to regear...
but you'll probably wish you did.

auto or manual ?
4 cyl or 6 ?

Your speedometer and odometer will be incorrect
due to the taller tires... options for correction is available.
Gearing it correctly will bring your speedo/odo
closer to what they should be.
Mechanical speedo tuning can be had by changing out the speedo drive gear
or wiring in an electronic digital control. (ie: Dakota Digital/Yellow Box, etc.)

I wouldn't recommend gearing the rear axle only...
if someone forgets and puts it in 4X it will break shit.

Granted if yer the only operator...
you could do just the rear first...
then do the front later if $ is of issue.

But if a gear swap is chosen...
I'd think it smarter to save yer pennies...
and swap them both at the same time.
