Default OK, So what color is it anyway?

I know Toyota has names for their paint colors.

I've seen "Black Pearl" and "Desert Sand Mica" and "Speedway Blue".

Today, somebody asked me "What color is your truck?" and I didn't know how to answer them.

It's not silver,it's not gold, and it's not tan, but it's kinda all three. If I had to call it something, I would say it's a champagne sort of a color.

I bet some of you remember what Toyota called it.

It's a 2001... What Color Is This Truck?

Yeah it's called lunar mist but you think it looks champagne? I've got the same color and it just looks like silver to me.

Yeah, if it's dirty, or in the distance it looks silver. I think some sun fading probably makes it more silver than it was back in '01.

But when it's clean and waxed up real nice you can clearly see a gold tint to it. I thi.k it's more in the metal flake tban anything else.

Under certain ligbt conditions, it almost looks tan colored.

That pic where it's sitting by it's self with the '01 stickers on the windsbield sbows it pretty well.

My truck is the same - it looks silver until you see it next to a bluish-silver vehicle, then it's clearly a yellowish-silver. Not champagne though. Champagne is a little darker than that.

I consider it nickle colored. Ever see a chromed part where the outermost layer of chrome (which is bluish) has worn away exposing a relatively yellowish metal? That's nickle.

Yeah but it doesn't say the name

For example, mine is 040 but its name is Super White.
