Camp Creek Wash - Needle Rock

It's been years since I have driven down Camp creek wash out by needle rock. Finally got another rig(1989 4runner), and want to take the kids for there first desert ride. Any one been down this trail recently? Was always a nice easy ride and figured it would be good for first run to get a feel for the new rig.

The place is north of Fountain Hills next to the Verde River. I've been up there a couple of times, nothing special, like he said, it's a sandy desert wash..

Drove it today. Like 007max said, its an easy washy ride. Was nice for first time trip with the kids. Lot of open side spaces if someone wanted to camp or hang out. Started from Needle Rock(you go in from Rio Verde - back of Fountain Hills). We came out at Bartlett Damn road. May have mispelled that. Trip is only about 9 miles so nice easy ride just to mess around. Did see one rattle snake. Kids loved that.
