tbs do not provide more hp or mpg the idea they work off is a high rise intake on an older carberated engine, the idea does not work of fuel injected motors because they do not 'store' fuel and air in the intake
I get 20mpg in my '01 taco. I just hit 152k on the 3.4l and it seems like the gas mileage is getting better. I am going to miss it when i buy me a new Tundra next year though.
Just drove down to Buda (Cabelas) this past weekend and got 20.2mpg. Stock 99 V6 Prerunner with stock sized Wranglers. I'd love to get a new Tacoma but hate to thing of the lower mpgs......
