i have a 98 ext. 4x4 tacoma and It has a virbration when i accelerate and at certain speeds like 25 45 and 65 is where it is the worst can anyone help me narrow it down to the problem?
Is it only on acceleration? If so look into the carrier bearing in the middle of the rear driveshaft as well as the u-joints in that same shaft. You'll probably find your problem there.

Yup I concur.. First thing that came to mind when I read your post was driveshaft related issues.
Had a very similar scenario on my 73 bronco. it would resonate at more speeds (as you indicated) than just one of the higher speeds which is where you will feel a tire typically. (Around 65-70 mph.) Not to say tires dont resonate or vibrate at slower speeds, you just dont feel them at the slower speeds. since you feel the vibration at the slower speeds (25 mph) I would immediately suspect driveshaft, since it spins at a higher rate at the lower speeds than your tires.
Check the drive shaft.
Final thought.. were you out mudding just before you felt the vibrations? if so, maybe a trip to the car wash to get the chunks of mud out from the driveshaft / wheels. Mud can cause an issue like this as well.
100% U-Joint..... I am on my 5th toyota truck in 18 yrs.... many many many miles, Been there.... Done that, many times!!! I wasn't sure til ya noted in your post that it does it at certain speeds! Crawl under your truck and wiggle your driveline next to each U-Joint, you will soon find the problem......
I found my rear-est u joint was broken of partially while sleeping it off under the truck during a camping trip, turns out the only thing pushing the truck was the end of one "U" slipping of its mount and slamming the side of another "U". I was 150 miles from home in lake chelan, WA. I managed two mountain passes all with a entire role of extra-strenght duct tape wrapped around the u-joints. So Im going to recommend that you need duct-tape and youll be good.
dont know if youve ever beaten ujoints out man... but if negative slop were possible, it'd be about right. pinion kicks up under acceleration/power so keep that in mind when you're detectivin.
