National Trails Day, Corral Canyon OHV Area-CA
Posted on the San Diego Offroad Coalition's website at www.sdorc.org Please join us in a National Trails Day Celebration & Open House at Corral Canyon OHV Area on Saturday, June 4th, 2005 8 am - Corral Canyon Campground. This event is being hosted by: San Diego Off-Road Coalition, San Diego 4 Wheelers, California Trail Users Coalition in cooperation with the Descanso Ranger District of the Cleveland National Forest. Events being planned for Saturday include: · Adopt-A-Trail trail reroute dedication · ATV rides (Sat & Sun) · Brushing and trimming trails (Sat & Sun) · Campground cleanup (Sat & Sun) · Displays and information handouts · Four wheel drive runs (Sat & Sun) · Lunch for attendees · Motorcycle rides (Sat & Sun) · OHV sound testing · Prize give -a-ways · Restore In Peace trail retirement · Tread Lightly training · Volunteer signups All events are subject to change. SD4W has been fixing Bronco Peak since last Sept. Don't know if they "adopted" it, but I'm fairly sure this is what they are re-opening.

I beleive that sd4w has adopted the bronco peak trail, at least they have a sign at the entrance. TDS does espinosa/spur meadow it hink.
Cant wait for the rest of bronco to open. WHY did they plan this the same weekend as the Baja 500 though???? argg Mike |

Good observation Mike. Planning this for the same weekend as Baja causes a conflict with about half of their user group. Oh well, I'm working anyways.
