I just ordered the stage-3 Demello Camburg set about two hours ago:
http://www.demello-offroad.com//cata...1344ff32ba8f2b I am all about keeping it simple, but in adding it up, I am not sure how much the Deaver 7 pack or the "DEMELLO OFF-ROAD REAR SHOCK MOUNT KIT" is actually costing me. I am already wanting to upgrade this to the Deaver 9 leaf and reservoir rear 7100's so I think that for the price, they should be able to do this. Any thoughts on the value of this package? |

Remote reservoir rear 7100s, huh?
What are you doing with this truck? Unless you are pounding in the desert at high speed, they will only be for the "cool" factor. If you are crawling this truck then res. shocks aren't really necessary. The deaver 9 is cool, but the 7 is just as cool and I think has more flex than the 9, IIRC.

The 7100's come in a short body version. They allow more shock to be put under the bed and use the valving beter. I have had resi. shocks on my rock crawler and know many that do and they need them. There is more to the shock than just having a resi. Its so they are not emulsion shocks. The 9 leaf and 7 leaf get damn near the same travel. I was getting 13-14" of travel out of my 9leaf setup. 9leafs are able to carry more weight and reduce axlewrap better. I don't see resivor shocks or 9 leaf deavers as cool or bling if they are needed. I guess the air bumps on my exo caged, leaf sprung rock crawler with a tired 22rte are just 'cool' and bling hua?
