Today (27 Oct 2008)-- I took the truck in and had the Transmission Shop in Bryan, TX do a transmission FLUSH with ROYAL PURPLE! I like the oil, but NOT the bill that goes along with it....
Also, got the brake lines flushed and re-bled... Rhino Line the Rockers & Fenders I like the look. I know that it'll fade a little over time PLUS get dirty but I LOVE the way my Rhino Lined bed has held up over the years. Anyways, here's the pics... ![]() ![]() Also had them do a strip across my tailgate to cover some rusting spots from getting banged from hauling and working.

So, my wife and I have been strung out the last few times when I came home because of having only one car (she sold her car and fell in love with MY truck!).
Anyways, we wanted something easy to store. I worked hard this year overseas and only took 35 of the allowed 90 days vacation... This was my present yesterday!!! ![]() ![]()

Roger Brown 1"BL and mud flaps reinstalled...
I spent all day working on getting the 1" RB polyurethane body lift. I like how it sits and rides. I took it out on the lot my father in law owns and flexed it a little bit to see how it'd do.

Well, today I managed to break a front brake line... So I ordered a new one just now, but switched from the Wheelers to AllPro. We'll see how better they are I guess...
![]() Also since my lift the tire well coverings were no longer working because they were too short. SO I made my own! Cost was $11 from Home Depot. Here I laid the new material (think black vinyl) out with the old one as a template on top. ![]() Closer pic... ![]() I traced the old one, but added about an 1.5" to the width to allow for the BL. I made the first then used it to help make the second. ![]() Here the new one is installed. Nice and clean! ![]() I might set something up on the rear as well. IDK yet.

So I pulled my entire interior out...
![]() Then I scrubbed it all down with paint thinner and a wire pad... ![]() Front Part... ![]() Then I started to spray the inside with Raptor U-POL. (I loved this stuff!) ![]() Then I decided I should remove the back box parts too... (this shot is after the first coat. I did 2 full coats on the floor and 1 coat on the rear box top portion) ![]() Then I turned my attention to insulating the doors. I put flashing adhesive inside of them, this stuff is in a way like Dynamat but supposed to be for your home. I also lined the back of the cab with it too... ![]() Shot of the doors after putting on the bottom layer of flashing adhesive. I went up as far as I could to cover as much area inside the door as I could. I also sprayed rubber undercoating inside the bottom of the doors. ![]() Next I used air space insulation to help against outside noise as well. I also replaced all the speakers inside the truck to some better ones. Nothing fancy though. ![]() The finished result... (I didn't want to try to stretch the vinyl over the cubby hole tops so I left them carpeted) ![]() Vinyl front shot... ![]() Makes a HUGE difference on the road now!! Me and my wife love it!!!!!!!!

Hit a snag in a few things (winch, lights, and UCA bushings...) but all in all things have gone well.
Here are a few pics of the new stuff going on... ![]()

So a BIG "thanks" goes out to ICON for helping me out with some awesome customer service with getting parts for my UCA's. They work great!!!!
The line speed on the Smittybilt XRC10 is actually better than I thought it would be, so that's cool. Also, grabbed a winch line cover from TRDParts4U while I was in Dallas! Installed the 700 x 14" coils on the ICON Coilover's up front! Nice and stiff, and helps a lot with the winch and bumper. No more front sag! I changed my turn signals to clear "marker lights" for a cab. I wired them to be park lights as well so they look great at night and are highly visible, which is nice. I installed one Kragen HID, and have two more to put where the yellow 500 Hellas are right now. The 500 Hella lights will be moved lower, and some additional 550 Hellas will be added next to the turn signal marker lights. ![]() ![]()

Ordered the Aluminum window hinges from JSI Motorsports.
![]() BUT.... They don't work on my windows... I read that they had some problems making them work properly for a few years of the Taco and could send them back to be reworked. I think I'll try to keep them and work on them myself though. Here's the pics of them. Very nice quality and JSI has super fast shipping to me. ![]() ![]()

All the Kragen HIDs are now up front with my Hella fogs lowered on the bumper. These things are awesome and work great together.
The airflow is effected by the lights but the truck hasn't wanted to overheat any. Gonna be modifying some things to help out with that too. Also got the Redline Tuning Elite shocks installed on the hood... Boy these things were EASY to do. But I did break a brand new rivet gun... Not sure what happened with it. Exchanged it for another new one and worked perfectly. ![]() Pics- ![]()

Added some flexible LED strip lights to the bottom of the headlight area from www.Oznium.com. They are "Super White" colored. I like the way they look for now. I wired them into the park lights so I can drive during the daytime with them and the park lights on but save my headlight bulbs from having to be on. We'll see how good it works out...
Pics ![]() ![]() ![]() Gonna also change out ALL the interior lights to "super white" LED squares... Pics

So got the Install done on the front end for the Prerunner to 4x4 Swap with the help of Snorkie.
Diff Drop was taken off after a week...ABS Mod I also decided while working on a brake issue to do the ABS cutoff switch Mod. It lights up the DIFF LOCKER and ABS lights on the dash when in use so you don't forget to turn it back on when you need it. Also, finally took my truck in to the stealership to be looked at because of a pulsing brake issue. I went through the whole brake setup that I installed to do a check before taking it in. I told them my thoughts about it and after some cross talk between myself and a Yota Mechanic there we finally found the issue-- A Speed Sensor. $250 part + $125 install... Sux but at least my brakes are badass again. lol!
