Default White Tanks 8/24

Me and a couple guys will be doing a very moderate run into the Tanks that Sunday. The scenery is trashy desert. Historical value is zero. We'll be running Appetizer, Tax Collector, with Firebird and/or Lower Scorpion. It's a good chance for people with stockish vehicles to see what they can do, however some lift, a locker, and sliders highly recommended.

We're meeting at 8am on Watson just north of the freeway. We're looking for another 3-4 vehicles max, IFS preferred. Sorry, trying to keep it under 8 vehicles and giving non-crawlers a chance to test their meddle.

Yeah, change "highly recommended" to: some lift, a locker, and sliders required to avoid total carnage!... just to clear up any ambiguity.

The hardest part of Firebird may be the big boulder at the very end... we'll *gasp* stack and strap there if needed. Oh yeah, we'll unstack after

I would like to go if I don't end up wheeling Saturday night. Keep us posted on when and where to meet.

Edit: I see you already posted that. I won't get in the way, I promise.

Yeah sure, whoever, I just thought I'd give an opportunity for some lesser rigs (like mine) to try some "harder" trails... and we see how much interest that attracted!

If you don't think you'll be bored out of your mind, roll with us... so far it's just me, Talanor, and a couple friends (an 06 Taco and a jeep). Especially you Jim, shit, you're the one who showed me the trails out there way back when.

Still looking to do Appetizer, Tax Collector, and then everyone can laugh as I attempt Firebird. Crap, I was hoping I wouldn't be the weakest link for this run

How is that "Nesting" thing going for you? Sounds like you are getting ready to have a few chicks! If you need, Sy can give you a good location for Duvet covers and window treatments

Yep, I can see it already...."guys I'd love to go wheelin' this weekend, but I need to go to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, then we're going to swing by Wal-Mart for a quick tampon run, so I'm just not gonna make it"......I've seen it a million times!
