Hmmm....I saw mountain goats in that exact same place last time I was there... Really not too concerned about people, i seemed. They didn't look as mangy back then, though...
Great pics! I wish I could have made it. Damn leaf springs... |

It's just an old miners cabin that folks have fixed up. Anyone can stay there. It's kinda exposed though...

Nice Pics! I wish I would have gone. Instead I got sunburned working on wiring up my OBA instead.
That steep down hill part is nothing like it was 11 years ago. Looks like everyone had a great time. When are we going again?

Got home at 1530 today. Crashed in a hotel last night. A shower and a real bed was awesome.
Been following this thread on the laptop and we've finally got the pictures from the trip photobucketed from the home computer. Here's a few... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The babies ![]() And a different side of everyone's favorite goats ![]() The rest of the pics from our whole trip and some hijacked from Molly are up here We had an awesome time and definitely appreciate all the help putting the trip together and the trail run down a couple more challenging trails on our last day. If you guys find yourselves in NC and need a couch to crash on or some trails to wheel down be sure to look me up. |

The switch backs going up to Webster Pass are sketchy right now. It's the reason the trail is closed and its tight, then there's the washouts. I had less feelings of impending doom on Red Cone. Yay Red Cone!

Damn, I definitely wanted to go on this one but short notice and stayed out too late the night before.
If anyone else wants to go up there in the next couple weeks, I'm probably down.
