Nothing on it was bad at all. I think steep descents are more interesting in jeeps though, and that is what the people who do most of the guides drive.

Yeah, if they can keep it one way it should stay intact, but oddly enough one of the ATV folks we ran into was making a joke about running it backwards and that he would take the ticket if the ranger could catch him...

They removed the washboards a few years ago, after frequent "accidents". Now the descent really isn't a big deal. Back in the day, it was relatively intimdating, though.

Like I said its been a few years since I ran that trail... and going through the pictars I wasn't seeing it like I remembered. Still not going to do it again

too...? You weren't with me on Red Cone... and as Lion's Back goes I didn't scream until my truck was firmly planted nose first into the sand... and that was more of a I really wanted to shoot something so the next best alternative was a short scream followed by almost killing Lindsay with a flying pry bar

Yeah... I wasn't real happy. Vertigo sucks to have, especially as bad as I do. And the difference between that and cliff diving... well cliff diving only lasts a split second, and the adrenaline rush out weighs the fear only because... well... how much thinking can you do in a blink of an eye LOL

Anyhow, could of been a lot worse... ever see the video of the guy who taped himself doing Lion's Back... between the hyper ventilating and calling himself stupid several hundred times, it was rather entertaining!
