Question InTTORA June Run-Cliff's

O.K. The febuary run to the Cliff's Insane Terrain has been moved to June. The reason for this is that I am going to speak with the park owner and get permission to camp within the park. This is something that was done at an event last year and I thought was great! It even opens up the doors to some good camping/bonfires/nights runs! Since I am the closest (about 1 hr.) to the park, I will be making arrangements/contacting the park. Last year the guy who was in charge merely had to mow an area for camping a few days before the event.

Here is a link to the website for the park:

http://www.thecliffsinsaneterrain.com/index.html

I am trying to plan this event way in advance so that we can advertise this to other local Toyota groups that use this park. I am thinking of perhaps having a barbeque for dinner or lunch one day as well. If we have the newb cube done, it would be a chance to display it and get our name out as well.

I need to solidify a date for this event so I can contact the park and begin arrangements. So far they have no scheduled events in June so if we speak up we can have pretty much whatever weekend we want. (They hold the Chicagoland Toyota Jamboree each year in July-just food for thought)

If it doesn't matter to you what weekend just pick the one you would prefer, if your not going, please don't vote. Thanks.

I may have to retract my vote if I get the veto handed down from the "secretary of calendars" (in other words, if the wife says something is going on that weekend, I will have to change days )

Hi, Im the guy who runs the chicago toyota jambo.

Let me know if you need a hand setting this up. Im friends with Steve (owner) and Tom (in charge of park). Plus ive ironed all the little bugs that come with setting this up there.

Let me know. I may be there anyway.

All of those dates are good for me. Odds are I wold have been there at least 2 of those days anyway

Reading everyone's posts along with the poll information, the 27th is looking to be the best date so far. Poll closes tomorrow morning so get your votes in if you want to count!

I will be getting in touch with you next week regarding this run, once a date is picked. Do you have any ideas when the jambo will be?

Like I said, the 20th is fathers day so that is out!!!!!

as for my work work, I am starting to get gear up for this season so I just have to wait to see if I am overwhelmed or not. The boss is being a pain this year so my time off may become limited.

the 27th though other than that is fine for me.
