Ahhh come on Scott...I know you got more pics than just that one!

When you think you'll be ready to go test it out?

i plan to have everything welded up over the holidays and then pull the axle back off to rotate knuckles. i bet i ought to be done by the end of january. i just have to order front shocks (length still unknown) and steering rods (length unknown).

FYI, we are trying to get a run together for either KR or Tree's in late January or early February; try to keep moving, so we can shake your rig down.

Yes I have the whole interior. I have the steering setup down to the rag joint, beyond that(steering box) is gone.

Scott e-mailed me earlier today that the progress had slowed down a bit....I guess that with the new CTD, he has become complacent.

I suspect that there are more than of a few of us eager to see his killer rig back on the trail.

CTD's rule, I sometimes wish that I had bought one instead of the Tundra.....certainly when I am towing.

We had a great run at Tree's this weekend...I can fill you in on the details offline. There are plenty hard obstacles out there; your big giant rig would certainly be at a disadvantage on some of the tight trails, except for the wheelbase and axle width.

We winched 12 of 14 up a particularly nasty spot...Jimmy and Shannon cleared it [although Shannon has a very nice new dent in his passenger's X-cab as a result]. I hooked up my winch without even trying very hard after watching the three Heeps in front of me get hyper-tippy, and knowing there were 9 more mostly lesser-equipped rigs behind me that we needed to get off the trail.

Get 'er done!

You know Scott at this rate I'll have 60's on my truck before yours is done. Seriously though, I know how it is. It took me two years just collecting parts.
Right now I'm picking up my $75 rear FF60. Next are some t-cases and adapters from Marlin. BTW you went with 23 spline cases right? Remind me how much farther back you front t-case output shaft is.

Thnx
Matt

I have a postman friend that has a T-100 and he would like to lift it a bit and fit my ProComp 33x12.50R15 tires on his truck
Can he do that, what lift is available and will the tires fit w/o lift?
thanks
bob

Long answer: have him check out this forun http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/postli...t=&Board=UBB78

Short answer, with a little front fender seem trimming and the correct offset wheels you can run 33's witn No lift. Check out that site it has lots of good info. sorry that don't have more answers bat I have been SASed for so long that I don't remember all the specifics

I had a different T100 with a 4" superlift and a 2" BL and 35's. It did ok but I kept breaking the front axle. If you do easy to moderate wheeling then you should be ok.
Here is Erik's site with lots of good T100 and general Toyota info: http://home.off-road.com/~bibelheimer/t100.html

Procomp, trailmaster, and superlift all make or used to make lifts for T100's. Also check on ebay.

So you think my friend can run my 33x12.5R15 ProComp MTs on his non lifted T-100
He was to put on a mild lift, he goes out hunting in the woods and and mostly city driving

we tried for a long time to get my ProComp 33x12.5R15 MTs on his T-100
I got the rear ones on and the were perfect!
The front tires rubbed like a SOB and we had to remove the mudflaps.
He was not happy with the rubbing on the body and didn't want my tires.
I am recomending that he can go as big as 33", but think 32x10.5R15 would fit his truck, or just smaller ATs vs MTs
what do you think?
he does not want to lift it, I tried to convince him it was a good investment
Would you believe he had 96K miles on the original Goodyear Wrangler AT's?
