Default CBI Offroad introduces the Trail rider bumper

CBI has always strived to offer the highest quality products at a reasonable price.
We feel we have hit the mark again with our new Trail Rider rear bumper for the 95.5-04 tacomas.

This bumper is constructed of a combination of 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" CNC formed and plasma cut A36 steel.
This bumper is compatible with most existing reciever hitches so you don't lose your government rated hitch.
For those wanting more ground clearance, we are also offering this with a built in reciever hitch. (not rated for towing).

This is also available with a swing away tire carrier that can be configured to fit your individual needs.

The prices for this bumper are as follows:

bumper w/o rec. hitch or swing away, $350

bumper with rec. hitch and w/o swing away, $400

Basic swing away (as shown) add $300, this includes frame reinforcement plates.

These prices are for bare metal only. Call for pricing on custom configured swing away tire carriers. Many options available including our new gas can holders.

we also offer discounts for ordering more than one item at a time. So let us know what else you might need and we can work up a price for you.

As many of you have found out in the past with many manufacturers (including us from time to time) that quite often lead times are long and delivery dates are not met. We would like to reinstill confidence in the buying public by putting our money where our mouth is, and garaunteeing a 50% discount on the sales price if we don't meet our deadlines!!

These will still be built as ordered, and lead times should be in the 4-5 week range for bumpers only, 5-6 weeks for bumpers with tire carriers. Exact shipping dates will be confirmed at time of ordering.

We accept visa, mastercard, and discovery, as well as paypal and checks through the mail.
we require a 50% deposit at the time of ordering and the balance when the order is completed.

For questions and orders contact Steve or Jason at 208-528-0664, or steve@cbioffroadfab.com.

Thanks, Steve.

Bad Ass Steve!

Here is one owner that loves his CBI bumper (different style).
Believe me, it takes the hits very well.

Too bad that:
#1 - I already have an armored rear bumper on my Tacoma.
#2 - You don't make something like this for an FJ60.

I have had alot of requests for a bumper that works with the factory hitch, this is one of those. We offer them either way.

I would love to get the 3rd gen 4runner bumpers going, but I just don't have one available here to work on...... Want to spend some time in Idaho??

Not in the market presently, but glad to see this level of service offered. Fine looking bumper as well.

Bring us the runner and we can make that happen....of course it wouldn't be able to be the same as the taco since it is a runner and the rear ends are so different.... But it would be badass that is for sure.

Nice! I just sent Steve a MSpaint document today with drawings asking if he can make my front bumper. (My buddy was supposed to do it up for me but he has been off promoting his 4x4 shop and stuff so he doesn't have the time.)

Now I think I'll go ahead and send in a request for the rear one too... Got some work to do on MSpaint.

Thumbs up 2005 Tacoma CBI Rear Bumper

I get lots of compliments and questions about who made my bumper.

I highly recommend CBI's products, and I even put their swag on my rig to advertise CBI

It will if that is what you ask us to build it for....37 is ok, 40 is kinda pushing it. Not sure if a 40 will even fit between the top of the bumper and the top of the cab. Just need to know up front if the tire is going to be that big so we can built accordingly stregthwise and leave enough room not to cover the taillights... A 40 is really really big. I will see if we can dig up a pic of another one we did for a 40, but it is on a Nissan Patrol and is tied into the exo-cage and still moves somewhat.

As you can see a 40 is massive... and on Portals, it has lots of ground clearance! The pumpkin can almost clear the Jerry Can.
