Default 05+ tacoma bolt on rear bumper - ArmorTech Offroad

here are a few shots of the new bolt on replacement bumper that we have released. it requires no modifications to the truck to use, however it is not compatible with the factory toyota hitch at this time. next i will be making new brackets that will allow the use of the factory hitch but that will take a few weeks to release. options include rear lights, integrated hitch, recovery mounts and i hope to integrate a set of hi lift notches like i do on my other bumpers as well soon.

Looks like if you arent using the factory hitch then this design already has a higher clearance over stock. Interested in hearing if lights are or can be incorporated to light up the license plate per some state laws.

Im guessing that is a standard 2 inch hitch receiver hole. Put a flip up hinge on that plate for a hidden hitch use and that would be awesome.

To bad those lights in the bumper cant be flush mounted. Bigger lights or smaller hole maybe.

I could get rid of the lights and make that the high lift point.

I will wait for a response from Kevin on the other site I saw this.

How much?

How far behind the bumper does the receiver protrude? I have an oversize spare and not much room at all to clear it.

Great looking bumper!

wooo.. somehow i managed to miss all these responses. sorry guys! anyways.. thanks for all the compliments! and to address some of the questions, a hinge for the license plate is already in the works which would allow it to flip up when a hitch is inserted, as well as some sort of light for the plate to keep everything legal. this bumper does obviously have the option for an integrated hitch. as far as clearance for the oversize spare, there is no part of the bumper that goes beyond the leading edge of the bed, where the piece of metal hangs down, so as long as it fits under the bed then the bumper shouldnt interfere with it. as a note, all my bumpers come PAINTED not powdercoated. i do this because the original intention of these bumpers is to provide added protection to the truck in an offroad environment. and typically when offroading the rear bumper will quickly become scraped and banged. with the paint you can now easily come back and touch up the bumper when you return home to keep it looking nice and new.

pricing is as follows:
base bumper $525 plus shipping
integrated hitch $40
two shackle mount $40
light cutouts with lights $50

if you have any questions feel free to pm me, email to kevin@armortechoffroad.com, or call 540-784-0197

Do you have an approximate weight? What is delivery time on these? Where are they shipping from?

Thanks, great looking bumper!

an approximate weight on these is around 90 lbs. or so.. depending on what options are on it. the actual shipping time depends, everything here is built per order so it all depends on how many orders are ahead of you at the time. give me a call if you would like somewhat of a current time frame. ATO is located in lexington, va.

i am currently working on one that will have the hitch located directly below the license plate so stay tuned for pics of that design!

thanks again guys!!!

I like this bumper a lot too. Looks well made, and well integrated. Hmmm, decisions, decisions. :-)
