I have slowly been fixing parts on my truck since I bought it last year, thought I would show the progress of it.
Brought my truck into Richer Racing a couple months to have the front end rebuilt... which slowly turned into rebuilding most of my truck ![]() Purchased quite a few parts for my truck ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Amoung the parts were a Richer Racing Tacoma kit 5.5 over all chromo all uniball/hiem boxed lowers, tubed uppers, custom upright custom machined hubs wilwood superlites ![]() ![]() start of engine cage ![]() fixed and remounted fuel cell ![]() ![]() Had to modify the Steering rack to accomodate the new suspension ![]() truck stripped and getting tubework reworked

Hell ya kit looks awesome! What are the specs and travel numbers on the kit? What did they do to "modify" the steering?

Thanks guys. Jonny had the stock rack cut and shortened, allowing for longer tie rod ends, thus reducing bumpsteer to zero. I'm hoping for 18.5" and being strapped at 17 or so
All this stuff is an all new design so its been awesome watching jonny go in and redesign and change things to accomadate my needs. |

O I definatly have to agree, its been a very expensive journey, if my outside financials are in check in should be racing this bad boy mid next year. I'm running doug thorleys, easiest thing in the world to install when there is nothing in the way of the engine lol

right on, been thinking about headers for a while but money is an issue been looking at the jba headers just the stainless or i found some non carb legal ones for 100less but right now im not sure if my truck will pass smog or not with the fuel cell some say it will and some say it wont.

Ughh i wish! its just a stocker tranny (3spd w/overdrive) but Im going to be building the spare tranny I have of this with all the goodies from level10

well, the rack was milled down, everything inside of the rack was beefed up with a bigger piston and what ever else you can replace inside of the rack. and the tie rods were lengthened. it is a compeltete cstom rack with about 3 inches of the stock housing left over
