Default 00 tacoma rebuild

I have slowly been fixing parts on my truck since I bought it last year, thought I would show the progress of it.

Brought my truck into Richer Racing a couple months to have the front end rebuilt... which slowly turned into rebuilding most of my truck

Purchased quite a few parts for my truck

Amoung the parts were a Richer Racing Tacoma kit
5.5 over
all chromo
all uniball/hiem
boxed lowers, tubed uppers, custom upright
custom machined hubs
wilwood superlites

start of engine cage

fixed and remounted fuel cell

Had to modify the Steering rack to accomodate the new suspension

truck stripped and getting tubework reworked

Hell ya kit looks awesome! What are the specs and travel numbers on the kit? What did they do to "modify" the steering?

Thanks guys. Jonny had the stock rack cut and shortened, allowing for longer tie rod ends, thus reducing bumpsteer to zero. I'm hoping for 18.5" and being strapped at 17 or so

All this stuff is an all new design so its been awesome watching jonny go in and redesign and change things to accomadate my needs.

O I definatly have to agree, its been a very expensive journey, if my outside financials are in check in should be racing this bad boy mid next year. I'm running doug thorleys, easiest thing in the world to install when there is nothing in the way of the engine lol

Default Steering Rack

Its looking pretty sick!

I am definately interested in what was done with that steering rack.

Do you have any more info than what you posted earlier or any more pictures?

well, the rack was milled down, everything inside of the rack was beefed up with a bigger piston and what ever else you can replace inside of the rack. and the tie rods were lengthened. it is a compeltete cstom rack with about 3 inches of the stock housing left over
