wtb w56 trans
looking for a w56 trans for my 4runner. mine throws itself out of first and third pretty badley. i'd rather have one that doesn't throw itself out of gear.
wouldn't hurt if it came w/ a t-case either.

It's just the detent springs. You can get replacements from Marlin Crawler, just give him a call.

drained it today and found metal shavings

Ya know it depends on the amount of metal shavings. I drained DP's and figured it needed a new transmission too judging by the amount of shavings. I now know it's probably because 4th and reverse grinds. I'd try detent springs first because it's cheaper.
