Default cold start problems

i have a 92 toyota pick up with the 2.4 22re motor in it. just dropped it in because my old one went to crap. the engine did sit for a while but looked really clean and only had 80k miles on it. put it all in and everything ran good. except when its cold. starting it is a pain but once its warm it starts like a charm?
the new engine was out of a 2wd truck and is now in a 4x4 truck could this cause that?
i also did change the injector rail and the cold start injecter off my old engine that worked good.
also the check engine light is on. anyone have any ideas that can help me?

jump the e1 and te1 terminals (use a paper clip) on the diagnostic port in the engine bay it by the fuse box, turn the ignition on (not the motor) and count the flashes of the check engine light it will make a two digit number there may be multiple two digit numbers post them here
