Here it is currently. I've added a couple things since these pictures, like quick fist clamps to hold a shovel on the back of the cargo box and mounted an ABC type fire extinghiser to the passenger side roll bar in the back.
OEM 4Runner seats, but they're blue instead of gray like the rear seats.

Eventually, when I get around to it, I'd like to take out the carpet and put down Herculiner. After it's done and cured, I might keep the carpet up front, but deffinitly leaving it out in the back.

I just wrapped some 1/4" MDF in black carpet (same as the floor) so I could mount some speakers without hacking into the stock panels. I made some for the back too with diamond plate doors for my tools. works pretty good. Sounds good too

Hey Night Wolf, I see you have a center console out of some other vehicle. My console is beat to crap and I would love to put something else in there, especially with cup holders. What is that one from and how hard was it to mod in?

You're the third person to ask me about it. Acutally, it's not from another vehicle. I got it from Wal-Mart for $30 and modified it a little to make it fit.
Well, all I did was cut the sides for the seat belts and drill out the holes for the stock mounting locations.
It was actually very easy to install. Taking out the seats makes it much easier.

Look in my 4Runner's build thread in my signature.

Posted some pics on the bed liner interior thread but thought I'd do some more here too. We are covering everything in the interior with Herculiner; floor, plastic, carpet/vinyl paneling, etc. All the panels are being disassembled to cover them completely, I hate doing something half-a$$ed. All the usable factory hardware is getting a fresh shot of satin black rollbar spray, handles and some parts are getting an application of plastic dye that so far looks great and hopefully will be pretty durable. Looks better than new to me.

Had to build some new hardware out of the parts drawers from my local hardware store for the tailgate carpet...stainless so it looks cool and should hold up from the crud pretty well.

I really like how the carpet takes the Herculiner...

I'll post some more pics of the door we did a few days ago to give you a better idea of how other parts look done in bedliner. Seats will get neoprene seat covers, console will get a mix of Herculiner and plastic dye, of course the floor will all be Herculiner too. Dashboard is perfect so probably nothing to do but armor all that. If anyone is interested I'll update more interior shots as we make progress.

quick question-- for you guys with brown interiors, what color is the inside of your top?? I have brown but the inside of my top was painted gray, so I always figured it came off a different truck?

Nierema, we have the same back seat. The back portion of you back seat is upside down, if you pull it loose from the velcro and reverse the top and bottom it will fit and look better.
I'll post pics of mine in a few.

My interior is much more spartan than the rest on here. My main goal was weight reduction. I gutted everything, carpet, door panels, stereo, A/C, Gutted the rear tailgate only the outer sheetmetal is left, roof liner, rear panels and sheet metal when I dovetailed the rear, removed part of the dash, kickpanels and moved ECU to the glovebox, if it wasn't needed for rock crawling it came out.

this is what I'm talking about with your rear seat.

interior with spray in liner

Thanks. It had to cover the new tranny tunnel and the big gas tank hump in the back. I think it came out okay.

I used carpet glue and liquid nails. Highly recommend the liquid nails over the carpet..

Forming it was a royal pain. In fact, it looks okay in the pics, but there are one or two seams that I messed up. I used a heat gun to do some, and cut and notched too. Its hard to get it hot and not burn it all to hell.

i'll go take some photos ....

do any of you guys have rear seats that are separate pieces? Like not a solid bench piece and solid back? Mine is split 50/50 and its awesome because I can fold down just half if i need to. BUT i once heard something about that style seat and a recall, but can't find any info on it.

i remember seeing something on that recall and i looked into it to see if i qualified because i have the 50/50 back seat too. but it only covered a small range of vin numbers and apparently toyota gave you $1000 and took your seat...

i meant 50/50 side by side, not top half to bottom half.

my seat back and seat bottom = 4 pieces.

do you remember where you found that recall? i'd give up the seats for $1k -- thats what i paid for the truck! $1k would buy me a set of front after market seats and a rear delete ... i dont like carrying passengers anyway

my camera battery is charging, then i'll get some pics

i sent an email about it to SE Toyota ... if i dont hear back, then I will call sometime. Or maybe stop in ATL toyota and talk to colin's buddy about it. that'd be pretty sweet to get a grand for some seats.

pm me your vin and i can have them check it if i ever get in contact with someone about it.

gahhh..... looking at these pictures, i'm disgusted how dirty the inside looks! I swear its usually spotless, its just been too hot to get out and clean it up. Besides that, its just been sitting a lot collecting dust - i don't drive it much lately since the a/c is still broken.

cheapy seat covers til i can find somebody to re-do the stock vinyl.

btw - found this pic the other day ... one of my favorites - when i first took it for a weekend off road - with stock everything and 32s

thats what came in it ... complete vinyl interior, including all the seats. its a VERY base DLX model - only "upgrade" was the automatic transmission.

its awesome because its so easy to clean.

every once in a while a set comes up on ebay for sale. thankfully, mine only has a few small tears in the cargo area, and under the driver floor mat where it sees a lot of foot contact.
