Somehow we lost Michael, Edwin, and Jason at the end of John Bull. Not sure what happened. But my CB started going haywire and then when we finally stopped to check maps and directions we realized we had lost a few trucks. Anyway, I'm willing to bet you guys got out of there okay. We sent Bill back but he couldn't find you. Sorry bout that guys. I owe ya!
Here's my pics. Had a great time. Thanks for coming out everyone! Got to wheel my 35's for the first time. Not much to say other then that. Man you guys are fast with the pix! Thanks for sharing. Had a great time meeting you all and shaking down the 3.4Runner. All I can say is 3.4 + auto + dual ultimate cases = autopilot.
Bill and I rallied down the mountain, and as soon as we hit the freeway my rear locking hubs started slipping again Had to turn on the rear locker and nurse it home in one wheel drive at 60mph with the truck bucking every 30 seconds or so. Time to get some FJ80 drive flanges! Let's wheel again soon. Kurt

It was a good day, definitely a hit or miss for me on lines. Sometimes it was wow that was smooth and others ...well see three wheeling pic above. As far as the end of the run, we came down the last bit of rocks at the end of bull in the dark. Just before we got to 3N16 I heard over the CB " Hey do those guys know where we are going or should we wait" get to the intersection and no one there. Edwin, Jason and myself turned right on 3N16 to 3N12 to 3N14 and aired up at the Fawnskin Firestation. We figured the rest of the group had turned left and then onto Polique Canyon. Waited a while then called it a night.
Was great wheeling with everyone, some new faces and a few known. Nice to see another clean well driven 3rd gen and the 1st Gen with the 3.4 conversion ran well for a shake down trip. I will post my pics later.

Wow, Michael! That's a very nice looking bumper. I'm sorry I turned out to be a flake when we were trying to meet up to give you some measurements. Your guy did a great job!

I don't think working overtime can be considered flaking, not in this economy anyways. I remember last Spring was hard so no worries. Thank you for the compliment also.

Scub,
Looks like you guys had a great run. The Extreme Mine tour in Johnson Valley was fun, but following the wranglers was tough, MJR mike picked tight lines for my double cab. I will be down for the next run.

I ripped the end off my cable took the antena off and electrical taped the cable back into the bracket. I had no issues transmitting or receiving... It was a good run and I don;t have any hard feelings over it.
