Dave Talley, a homeless man, found $3,300 in cash in a backpack left behind at a light rail station in Arizona. Despite being tempted to keep the money, Talley tracked down and returned the backpack…

And that, my friend, is why he is homeless.... the guy is a halfwit.
Why would a hiker take $3K with him hiking?... and if he did, how could you possibly forget it? Maybe it was dirty money.

didnt the news clip say it was $5's and $10's?? yeah i always buy cars with the smallest bills possible, it makes the whole experience fun when it takes 4 hours to count the money!!
That yahoo clip is shitty at best. Here's a better one from Fox Phoenix.
I think the guy will fair better for having turned the money in. He's been offered free dental care, thanksgiving dinner, unknown amounts of money and jobs. If it was an average person who had turned it in, this wouldn't be a news story. It's just the fact that the guy is homeless that makes this interesting.
He was going to use it to buy a car, MY ASS. That was his drug money.
Watch the video in the link I posted. The guy is no drug dealer.

You probably have a job and a home. I think most people who have those two things would do the same.

You may be right about the halfwit part but dude wasn't going hiking. Unless you call riding the light rail in downtown Phoenix hiking.

Again the yahoo clip is fucking dumb but I don't remember it saying anything about that. Aside from that I could count $3000 in 5's and 10's in about 2 minutes.

Huh, that guy looked like most the drug dealers I have know, 5's and 10's is odd for a white boy though, usually they wont sell less than a 20 sack around here. Or everyone pays him in fives and tens
Who gives two shits if he's a drug dealer or not? It's not about that guy, it's about the homeless man. He's a good, honest man. And he'll be rewarded for his honesty. I'm a firm believe in what goes around comes around. And whoever said they'd take the money and run, you're an idiot.

You actually need 9 wires, 1 for each cylinder and 3 more to hook up to your balls and nipples. It's not a common mod, but you'll pay more attention and as a result you'll drive better.[/QUOTE]

I made another thread for that conversation and so far the idiots are winning.
You also don't know the circumstances of how he found it. Maybe other people saw it too and pressured him to do it.
