Energy Suspension Steering Rack Bushings

Well after a few hours of failed attempts to get my frickin' steering rack away from my crossmember, i'm throwing in the towel replacing my steering rack bushings. Still perplexed as to why it was so difficult, several writeups online make it look so easy! haha.

I just received this kit from Wheeler's on Monday, retailing for $14.95+shipping.

Gonna let it go for $10, complete kit of course.

Location: Long Beach, CA.

Please someone from SoCal pick this up, i know it's small, but I don't really want to mess with shipping at the moment.

Don't sell them. Instead head out to Miller Jeep Trail with me and a couple other guys on the 22nd. We are meeting at 10 which means if you head up to my place early, we could install them and you would get to have some fun all in the same day.

tempting...are you POSITIVE you can get them in? The power steering lines looked like they were being stretched (so unbolted from firewall), and then it looked like the steering linkage from the wheel was holding it back. Or could it have been the tierods?! anyway you look at it, the rack wouldn't move more than .5-1" away from the cross member

I've changed out mine on my taco, my wife's 4runner, and my budies Tundra - they were all the same.

hmm it's tempting, very tempting. But I went wheelin last weekend, goin to big bear this weekend, and the 22nd..that's a lot of gas $$ heh.
