The spring fire department fundraiser ride is on May 19th, meeting at the ZOE firehouse about 9 am, LEAVING for the trails about 10 am. The money raised will help pay for the day to day expenses incurred by the volunteer fire department that covers much of the areas we ride at Slade. There are multiple groups for different classes of rigs. The ride will be on some private land, as well as National forest lands as always. There is a cookout afterwards at the end of the day, and a $20 donation per rig is requested. These are great rides, supporting a great cause, so come out and be a part of it.
The fire department is right beside highway 11, just at the end of Zoe church loop. http://maps.yahoo.com/;_ylc=X3oDMTEx...q1=Zoe%2C%20KY Last edited by mossytaco; 04-24-2012 at 08:51 PM. Reason: Wrong date was provided. |

as you and I have discussed in the past, I am always interested in runs...my problem is two fold, will the truck be running and will I be able to take the time off.
Unfortunately I know I wont be able to get the time off for this one as graduatiom is coming up for cubby, but please do not let my single answer for this run prevent you from posting news of other future runs.Oh! and we want photos!!!!!!!!

Thats cool man I always try to post up anything we have going on in Ky that you all may be interested in and try to give you all as much of a heads up as I can. There is also a cleanup ride on the 12th at Slade that I'm gonna try to make and hopefully get a couple other guys to go to have a TTORA presence and exposure there. If we show we care then maybe they wont give people such a hard time about wheeling especially since alot of places are being looked at to be closed.

making clean ups is always a good idea regardless of where they held. for too long off roading has developed such a bad rap it is going to take constant diligence on every one who is a responsible, true blood off roader.
