Default My "new" toolbox

So Ive been looking for a toolbox for the bed of my 04 DC sinced theres not a whole lot of storage in the cab but I also didnt want to lose the bed space so that I could still fit my quad in the bed, so that made it hard to find box that would work. I found this "cruise" box by the dumpster one day with the spot welds busted off the hinges and one side caved in, it looked like it would work so I gave it a go, it was free anyway. So after some rivots and some piss can bed liner it came out pretty well and worked out perfectly....

I have some pics of my "cruise box" I'll post later plus the NSN number if anyone is interested. It looks a little different than yours though. Maybe a bit wider but with two latches for padlocks. The top is flush with the bedrails but if you had to you can pull the pins on all 4 corners and lay it flat. Compresses to about 2 inches high or so.
