Default check engine and traction control light on at same time?

does any body know why the check engine and TC light would come on at the same time? its on an 09 prerunner if that makes a difference. there should be a pic here too.

Also, what were you doing when the lights magically came on?

thats my issue i honestly dont know. my dad called me telling me that they were on in his truck and asked me if i knew. so i thought id ask you guys

Check the abs fuses, also wheel speed sensors and wires for damage. Easier to scan it than throw darts at an unknown gremlin.
