I made a gif in flash that is 20 frames long and when i saved it it cycles through the pics really fast, as seen in my avator. Does anybody know how to slow it down so it cycles slower?

you should be able to set the "frames per second"... or, I think you could use a single frame and use actionscript to cycle thru the imgs on a timer.
