Default Lake Pillsbury Snow Run!!!

Lemme start out by saying, snow is very intersting. Go one way, itll throw you the other.

Anyway this was tons of fun. We only made it halfway up the mountain, just got too deep (snow started at just above 1000ft) for anything but the two buggies ahead of us. Heres the pics

(BTW, some web browsers are having probs with webshots. Took me 3 tries (IOW, 3 different browsers) to get it to work! Cool picts though!)

I have mine up also:

http://www.sr4x4s.homelinux.com/Pils...005/index.html

Good trip, lots of mud and snow to play in. The two buggies decided to try a trail up there called Powerhouse. When its dry it is no big deal, but when wet becomes almost impossible. They tried it, and one of them ended up rolling end over end backwards. No one was hurt.

Another set of buggies from the same group went up another trail the night before (Friday night I think) and found a guy in a truck that had slid off the trail and rolled. He was alive but pinned in the truck. They winched him onto the road and called fire/rescue who made it to the scene. He died on the way to the hospital.

DONT go do these things alone.

I can see rolling/going over a cliff easily up there! Esp. with that snow that we had! Good reminder to always go with someone too.
