Ok for the '05 there are 2 options right now and a 3rd in january. Over the cab Yakima and Thule make a system. Either the Yakima Q tower or Thule Aero Foot. I have seen the Thule up close and it looks good. I have not installed a yakima unit yet.

In January Thule is realeasing an adaptor so that the Xporter unit can mount on the bed rail. The racl is a clamp on unit, however due to the composite bed there is nbo lip to mount to. They have designed an adaptor that will hook into the track system mounted inside the bed rail. I have seen the prototype and it looks good.

Here are a few pics I snapped of the stuff at a trade show. It shows an aero foot system over the cab and an xporter sytem on the bed.

The exporter adaptor is going to be about $50.00, Price on the xporter is above. The Aero foot assembly over the cab is $230.35. It will have black bars not silver as shown in pics. The silver bar option will be out in January and will up the price roughly $45.00

So how much are your prices on the 05 rack? Offering 10% off on those too? How about shipping?

Although I do not had a any D-Cab pics, The pic above on the 05 is almost the same. The only difference is the crossbar. It is smaller and black. If you are going on a pre 05 I recomend a 48" cross bar, if you do not want any overhang. I run a 58" bar over the roof of my reg cab but I need the extra space for hauling kayaks. Either way cost is the same with 48" or 58" bars you choose. I will do some searching for a D-cab pic for you.

I would run a Q tower system with 48" crossbarsfrom yakima. Then you could put on a load/mega warrior basket. The Mega warrior is 48" wide so when mounted on the D-Cab it looks sweet. Plus it is also 52" long which almost the length of the roof. If you're just going to run things like hi lift, lights, shovel, and some light campng gear that set up works well. If you are thinking about putting a spare tire up there, then you might consider adding a 3rd crossbar for added strength. The basic rack is rated at 165lbs but when loaded and wheeling it could use one more crossbar.

We outfitted one not to long ago like that but unfortunatley the memory card in my camera had problems and the pics were lost.

The price on the '05 rack system is the same as listed in ad, $230.35. shipping is about $25-35 depending on where it is going.

Well I will assume that your 4 runner has a track already on the roof. It was an option that most of them came with. If so The rack you need is called the Control Tower system. This system attaches to the factory tracks if you do not have tracks then you need a different system. let me know. The control tower system is on sale right now for $195.50. The system consists of 4 parts, crossbars, towers, adaptors, and locks.
