I'll be heading up there for a casual camping/wheeling trip. I'll probably head through trona, Mengel Pass and check out Cerro Gordo. Nothing crazy, probably just go with the flow rather than schedule trails.
Must be self sufficient, working 4wd, all primitive camping (no water, toilets) Other than that, everybody is welcome! |

Mengal Pass from Trona'ish, is the way to Butte Valley via Goler (east out of the Panamints), not the way to Cerro Gordo in the Inyo Mountains north west more or less of Panamint Springs . . . might be hard to do both in the same weekend! <G>
