I based this design off of Dean's old sliders, which is basically just bent at the front fender and flat at the rear fender. If that makes any sense
I would have bought his (sorry man!) but I wanted to incorporate more supports between the 2 long tubes (3 supports to be exact) as well as angle them upwards a little bit to gain some more ground clearance. This, combined with 4 mounting points to the frame, aren't going anywhere! BTW if anyone is looking to do a lot of notching with a tube notcher, I HIGHLY recommend getting Milwaukee bi-metal holesaws. I've made a front bumper and 2 sets of sliders so far and its still in good shape! (Remember to use cutting oil )The only thing left to do is cap the ends of the tubes nearest the rear fender well and make a set of hoops to match the rear ones ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() And finally, a picture of the bling bling tube caps I got from A&A Manufacturing These guys have all kinds of cool stuff, check 'em out! www.aa-mfg.com

The DICK in me asks...."are these BOLT on or WELD on"????????????
God dammit brian..........blah blah blah blah.....xoxo....blah blah....in one ear out the other......dammit.....blah blah.... They look really nice, IMO. And I agree 100%, Milwaukee hole saws kick ass. I drill 2.5" holes in traffic signal poles that are at least 3/16" thick, and they hold up quite well when oiled up and the pilot bit is good. Every time I use those large hole saw's.....I look for my ANGRY goggles though....I don't wanna shoot my eye out.

Looks good. Chop saw notching for 90* joints is much easier/faster though.
