Spring Creek Offroad Park
Anyone ever wheeled at Spring Creek Offroad Park?
Looks like a decent day run spot close to Conroe & Houston.

Just off 1488 and I-45.
Next time you guys head out there give me a buzz. I'd like to check that place out but have no-one in the area to wheel with, as I know its never a good idea to wheel alone.

The earliest I can slip out of the office on Saturday's is about 4:30 and Sundays about 2-3pm so if you guys are still out there I will definitely meet up with you.
After April 17, tax day, my weekends will be free.

Yes. I do both, audit and tax, audit usually about 10-11 months out of the year and tax returns 1-2 months.

I think I smell a spring creek run cooking up!
Welcome, Crunchy. The addition of another member up here in the Woodlands puts us firmly in first place as far as neighborhood attendance goes. Maybe we will have to work up some kind of secret hand sign or something!
Cool!

You'll be alright, Mitch. Frank and Justin were both on street tires. Yours can't be that bad, can they? ;D

I've seen two wheel drive trucks drive around out there. your tires could be completly bald and you'll be fine.
I have a wedding to go to on sat. but MIGHT be able to be there on sunday.

The dirt at Spring creek is mostly sand.
Street tires work just fine.
I would think that any tire safe for street use would be OK at the creek.

I discovered last friday that there is a rock crawling course toward the main entrance. A little more technical than I was used to but definately was fun. Would be a good challenge to any of yall who are feelin a little ballsy.

Out at Spring Creek
Ran out to Spring Creek this afternoon with the fiance for a few hours after I got off work.
Here's a few pics
Stuffed as much as I could get
About 26-27 degrees according to the LEV-O-GAGE
I obviously need the pinch weld mod and a body lift next, have major rubbing in the front and minor rubbing in the rear

I didn't get out of the office till almost 3:30, and by the time I picked up the fiance (I hate that word for some weird reason), it was like 4:30-5 when we hit the trails.

285/75-16 Goodyear MT/R's with 1 inch wheel spacers.
Have to get that body lift soon, the rear rubbed the paint off my fender flare in that stuffed picture. 3" is not enough for 285/75-16's, it even rubbs on the street.
