Default All-Pro's FJ Cruiser Front Winch Mount Bumper - Spy Pic!

Front High Clearance Winch Mount Bumper is currently in development - look for it soon! This is the cardboard mock-up. The prototype steel version will be done 4/25/06. More pictures and pricing will be added soon. This bumper will allow you to run up to a Warn 9.5XD.

Where is the controller/control box going to mount. If it mounts inside the bumper where is the cable remote going to plug into the housing? Looks great just wondering out loud.

Now you need to build one similar to this to fit the 05 tacomas! I think a plate design like this without all of the hoops and stuff would look great! It could be close to the same dimensions as stock and still house a winch.

I think it looks a lot different than Andy's

holes for lights, beveled top, no way to turn the lever

Looks great, i agree no hopes needed. Does the bumper only fit a warn 9.5xd? Isn't that kinda particial to one winch? How are you supposed to get your hands into the bumper to access the winch? The two big holes on the sides look like lights should be mounted to them, are they access ports?

Thanks for the compliment! It will fit up to a 9.5XD, meaning you can run anything less as long as it has the same mounting pattern (most are universal) and it doesn't have an integrated solenoid. The two round access holes allow you to operate the winch and plug in the controller, they are not meant for lights.

The control box in mounted inside the bumper, allowing you to plug in the controller through the access holes on the front.

That's what I said! It looks like stock only w/high clearance and BEEF!

I really like tube bumpers on the older Tacomas but I haven't seen any on a new one yet that really knocked my socks off. I think the All Pro one looks good and would look even better without the Grill tube.

Maybe if enough interest is shown they will build one, I know they usually order these in a run of 10 bumpers, I wonder if we got 10 "pre-orders" together if they would design and build us one similar to this.

+1 here, we might be able to get 10 people. Kinda depends on specs, and cost.

As long as my plans for my truck didn't change between now and conception I would be down for one at a similar price point to the tube bumper. I am no fabrication guru but I am willing to bet this will be cheaper/easier to produce (as long as their builder has the proper equipment) than the tube bumper. Of couse I could be totally off base with that statement. I would love something that tucked in as tight as the factory bumper and provided additional clearance. I would imagine the mounting and center piece dimensions are similar between the tacos and fj's, the wings would be different due to the way our goofy fenders are.

its a great design. i think it would look better painted black though. it kinda looks like plastic in that color. especially since its black underneith. anyone want to photoshop it in black?

...which is exactly why we ship all bumpers bare steel... but the main reason we shot it silver is you can tell the details easier than in black, and it looks MUCH better in person. The lighting outside today is not so great, but no matter what color you decide to paint it, the bumper looks great, has tons of clearance, and keeps the weight down compared to most others. The bolt on grille guard will be next in line for development along with tubular rock sliders and a matching rear bumper.

Like Terry said, you can't see the details in black.
