Newbie question with gears - please help!

Alright, so Im brand new to this site - came over from TOR - but thank god I found this since it has a hell of a lot more Taco info

.
My question is this - and probably will have some more in the near future.
Im currently running 3" spacer lift and will be installing my 3" body lift here in the next week - im running 33's but will be stepping up to 35's after I install the 3" body lift. I've got the 2.7 with a manual tranny and need to know which gears will fit me best. I do mostly city driving with minimal highway driving - maybe twice a month, maybe - So should I go with the 4.88 or would I be better with 5.29's?
Also - I dont do very much off roading, and when I do it is mainly in the winter here with snow - will the 35's kill my rig or will I be alright? Just curiouse to here from the guys running them around town.
Please fill me in with the needed info - its much appriciated

You should be fine with the 4.88's and 35's. That is what I am running but I do have the v6. But if you do the math 4.88's and 35's are still a lower gear setup than stock by just a small amount. But giving you a little more uumph to pull the heavier tires. With the 5.29's you are really limiting your highway speeds.

4:88 or 5:29's def for a 4cyl
I have them on my 1998 4cyl
I am curently running 35" Goodyear Wrangler MTRS
I am very happy with the gears-YUKON

98 Taco - are you running 4.88's or 5.29's? also what kind of driving do you do?

I'm running a v-6 5spd w/ 5.29's and 35in tires. My truck is the worst it can possibly be and I can still run 100 mph if I want to (its real high RPM, but its still there). 72 real mph is right about 2800rpms on my truck in 5th.
