Hello all
Pretty new, this forum and doing my own work on my truck. Anyways i bought some piaa 520's for my fj cruiser and installed them on my all pro bumper. The kit came with a switch that im supposed to velcrow to the dash somewhere. Looking pretty cheap, does anyone know where i can get some switches that would fit nicely in to the stock spare switch locations? The piaa switch is not a rectangle like the stock spares in the dash. Would my toyota dealership be able to hook me up with anything? Any help would be nice Thanks! |

You can get the stock fog light switch that you should be able to pop into one of the empty slots in your dash. They are kinda expansive though, but you can get them at your local dealership or a sponsor here - Toyota dealer from Texas - TRDParts4U (http://http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24673 ). They are great people to deal with! Don't forget to mention that you are a TTORA member.
My choice would be to install a nice looking aftermarket switch (like from an autoparts store) that's cheaper, but this is your truck, so do as you wish. |

I have the 520's with the same switch and it doesnt look bad at all...can't even tell it's just held on with double sided tape when it's on there. In my tacoma I put it right next to the diff lock button...looks fine.

I used the switches from www.4x4mods.com. They look pretty clean when you are done, and they fit into the free spots on the dash great.

Thats what mine looks like. It bugged me at first, and I was going to order some switches as someone suggested. It has been 4 months now, and I dont even notice (steering wheeling keeps it hidden). I am either too lazy or dont care to have it changed.

Yes, the switch that comes with the ARB kit is stupid. I just don't like aftermarket switches in general. They almost always look like a stuck-on afterthought, and it's the details that can make or break a really nice truck. Of course the type of switch you have for fogs in no way changes how well your truck performs on the trail, but it's just one of my peeves. |

I think I would go with one of the many factory set-ups that they have out there, just so it is a clean fit. You can go cheaper, and like FjAggie said, you can't see it past the steering wheel.

[IMG] [/IMG] Factory Taco fog light switch. You have to file on one side a little to get it to fit. Looks good don't it. |

Is that a switch from an 05+ Taco, or the previous generation. I have found a place that sells them, but I don't know if it is the complete assembly like the one from man-a-fre?
