Amsoil Air Filter or True Flow Air Filter
Which is preferred and why?

amzoil just came out with a new medium for the filters too, no more oil

i would like you to tell me where i can buy an amsoil filter currently...the old medium-style that fit v6 trucks has been discontinued, and the new medium (oil-free) is not applied to our trucks yet...true flow has been working nicely for me. i can hear the air suck more than with my k&n, but that is to be expected from a foam filter.

i like and trust my true flow filter...i was just trying to point out that, while amsoil might have been a good choice in the past, it is no longer an option.

I cant wait for the new filters to come out from amsoil since reading up on UOAS how bad some of the oil filters are. Ive gone through TRD and currently Amsoil oiled foam and now soon non oiled, whats next.

I wanted to get another Amsoil foam filter back in January. The filter was discontinued, so I called them and asked about the nano filter. They said about 3 months before it would be available. I checked with Amsoil in April and they said 2-3 months. Now from Gadget he says another 1-2 months.
I got tired of the delays and bought a TrueFlow filter. Its a decent design and in some ways better then the Amsoil filter. So far so good with performance. I bought my Trueflow filter from here: www.performance-air-filters.com
