Hey everyone,
With all the rain were getting today, im looking for a place to get my pickup dirty at. Just looking for some simple trails or access type roads. Nothing special or complicated as my experience is limited. Any pointers where i could go this evening??? Thanks! |

possiblity...
while driving north on I-77 within 10 min of US-30 interchange, there is a dirt road on the east side of the highway going off of a paved road (which goes under I-77) I looks like there may be some quad trails in that area, but I never pinpointed which road that was on, nor have I actually seen the trails... if you can make it friday, head to on and off road... probably about an hour from you?

How about the rock pit on Marshallville (Fulton) road just West of Deerfield? I think they close @ 1700 then it's just a matter of sneeking in.

Thanks Superposer. If the dirt road just north of the rt 62 and Fulton ave. exits, its about 38th street. If you get off at fulton ave, head north/west. A few stoplights later you will run into Westmoreland Ave NW. It is kinda tricky, but if you look on a map, it will turn into parkhill circle. Parkhill circle will dead in into that area. There is a creek that is down there and a few dirtbike trails/jumps. I used to ride my BMX bike down there about 7-8 years ago. Its been awhile, but back then it wasn't too bad. Anyways, it might be a fun stop with your dirtbikes. I have never had any issues with poeple chasing us out on our BMX bikes, and you could tell that there had been dirtbikes down there. |

Lots of inroads in Osnaburg Twp (E Canton) but I have never been back them...
Also, "Monarch" in Hartville, it's pretty much a dump in some land owned by the rubber plant but there is plenty to do. Lammrover |

So last night I found a trail leading from a newer housing development into a rather large area consisting of mainly rocks and softer dirt (thanks to the rain). There was an area with some mud that I had some fun in. It appeared that alot of dirtbikes/quads used the area. It is located around the rt 619 and meyersville road intersection by the airport. My 30x9.5 BFG long terrains did ok; at least I didn't get myself somewhere I couldn't get out. They did slide around alot while turning and got pulled along in some of the ruts in the more muddy areas. I will be looking forward to finding some bigger more aggressive tires. Since I asked for location opinions, I though I would share a couple of shots I took. Most where after I returned home, so alot of the mud had came off in the rain. Although rather simple, it was fun and im looking forward to the next time OHTTORA gets to go out!
