Looks like it just clips in. Have you tried removing the climate control knobs and poping the bezel off?

I didn't want to just start prying at it, and end up scratching it up (it's a brand new 2006).
BUT I just went over to Tundra Solutions, looked in the FSM, and found this:

I just did mine, it is amazing how easily it all came off, 5 screws and pull.
If you are replacing the stereo, you might have a stock amp that you have to work around so make sure you get the right wiring harness, also, on my '01, the stereo will not power up unless the heater controls are plugged in...I have no idea why, something to do with grounding perhaps?

Yeah - I'm actually going to upgrade to the Tundra 6-CD changer, so I'm hoping all I'll have to do is unplug one, and plug in the other.
