Question Tundra Dash Removal

How in the hell do you remove the black bezel in the dash that surrounds the radio?

Looks like it just clips in. Have you tried removing the climate control knobs and poping the bezel off?

I didn't want to just start prying at it, and end up scratching it up (it's a brand new 2006).

BUT

I just went over to Tundra Solutions, looked in the FSM, and found this:

Looks like you found the info you need. If you have any questions lelt me know. I have had mine apart about a dozen times trying to find a rattle. Also while your at it you should do the defroster mod, much nicer than having that thing kick on all the time.

Later,

Chris

Jamie, what are you doing over here in the Tundra/T100 folder?

You lost or did you do something foolish like buy yourself a new daily driver?

I just did mine, it is amazing how easily it all came off, 5 screws and pull.

If you are replacing the stereo, you might have a stock amp that you have to work around so make sure you get the right wiring harness, also, on my '01, the stereo will not power up unless the heater controls are plugged in...I have no idea why, something to do with grounding perhaps?

Yeah - I'm actually going to upgrade to the Tundra 6-CD changer, so I'm hoping all I'll have to do is unplug one, and plug in the other.
