Default DOT/Recreational Trails Program Allocations and Apportionments, FY 1993-2007

While doing research for a speach, this was found:

Explains how the funds are to be used.

I don't have the time to dig deeper, but I would love to find where the money is going exactly.

Just keeping everyone on their toes and hoping people will take action!

I do know that the State of Texas receives federal grant money, and along with state grant money has approved two grant applications from Texas Motorized Trails Coalition (a non-profit organization - One such grant allowed for the establishment and operation of Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area, a 1500 acre park, and the other grant was recently approved to open and operate a new, 3000-5000 acre OHV park in Southwest Texas. I don't know if part of the federal grant money is from the links you provided, but just thought I'd let you know what Texas has started doing.
