I had grand dreams of having a shop do a three link for me but then woke up and realized I owed a shit load in taxes this year. I had already re-geared the tail and had most of the parts i needed to do a leaf swap so I gave in and started cutting. HUGE thanks to wheelerjake for coming down for a couple of days and helping out with the cutting/grinding/welding. I should have her sitting on tires by this weekend and hopefully ready for kiddie trails at azrocks.
The blah blah stuff.... FROR kit minus the drop bracket to keep it low. Marlin 4" springs, 14" bils 5125, used from taco1 35" maxxis bighorns on crager soft 8's And the fun stuff.... Before pic on 35's She measured in at 20 3/4" to the ground from the front body mount, 21 3/4" in the rear ![]() Jake welding ![]() Front hangers on ![]()

Super WEEEE. Good luck on getting it ready for the kiddie trails by AzRocks. I'll be running some kiddie trails in mine too. Firday I'm supposed to lead a group on an easy run. Saturday should be stepping it up a little.

Sawsall is how quite a few have been done. If done right, the saws all leaves less to clean up. They are not as fancy as a plasma, but a sawsall and grinder goes a long ways. |

Yeah, that would be more of a challenge. Need more juice. Looks like you guys did a nice job cleaning junk up. Now get the rest done so us newb SAS drivers can all play on the kiddie trails together. |

Got the axle hanging. Adjusted for the body angle its sitting at 48*. This the second attempt so im thinking about leaving at this. The springs are used on a Tacoma already so they should not sag much. Here is the angle, do you all think its worth cutting off and moving a half inch forward? I want to keep it low anyway, in the photo its sitting at 25" on the front and its about 2 inches high to mount the tires. I would be really happy to come it at 23" to the front body mount.

You castor looks like its going to be way off. You should only be at about 5 degrees + max. I don't know, maybe its just me, but it looks like its going to be off. You might benifit from turning the knuckles some to get the pinion up too. That would fix the castor issue and low pinion angle. I think guys are turning anywhere from 8 degrees to 15 degrees.

My Alcans and Marlins springs are 47. My measurements are 47.25 If I ever wanted to use Marlin 5 in lifts springs It would be a crap shoot for me, since his 5 in lifts leafs are 47.5 in long.
